Hi, Sad to say I was testing a game on Vectrex with my jfmateos flash cart a few minutes ago and as I was playing, the screen went blank. I thought it may have been a crash but the Vectrex will now not boot when any cartridge is plugged in. Boots into Minestorm with cartridge unplugged so I'm guessing the connector may be dirty/ have pins bridged...
Has anyone else had this problem before? Any ideas?

Take a white sheet of paper as wide as the cartdridge connector, wrap it around the cartdridge connector and carefully insert it in the vectrex. In-/Out several times to clean it a bit. Put some rubbing alcohol on the paper if you have.
That's a softer method then sandpaper.
Does the cart work if you gently bent it down/up?

I tried cleaning the connector with contact cleaner but it did not fix the problem. Now it will not boot to minestorm. I'm not sure the cart connector is the problem as it boots to a wobbling Vectrex screen, then a bass tone. If a cart is connected, nothing happens.
