Yep, they seem to release new ones every year. I decided to get this one because it lets you add games using an SD card and it has HDMI output.

I have made a few more acquisitions to the collection. I am still waiting on a few to arrive, but in the meantime, I have welcomed the following classic games into the game room: Resident Evil Code: Veronica X (PS2), Tecmo World Wrestling (NES), Pokemon Puzzle League (N64), StarTropics (NES), and Wave Race: Blue Storm (GameCube). I have made some more modern purchases, too: Sniper Elite 4 (PS4) and Resident Evil 2 (PS4).

I have welcomed the following classic games into the game room: That sounds good You have a gaming/man cave? In my living room, I have a 60" HDTV set up, surrounded by two media racks full of games for the eight consoles I have hooked up. It's not so much of a cave, but it serves its purpose.

Last month I was able to welcome a few more games into the collection. You may know that I've been trying to build up my Nintendo Switch library since I got the console in December, so I recently got Super Mario Odyssey and Octopath Traveler. (Birthday gifts.) I've started to play Odyssey already. It is an open-environment 3D platforming game in the styling of Super Mario 64. Unlike the 2D games, you do not collect power-ups like Fire Flowers or Super Mushrooms, but you can still change your abilities by throwing your "hat" (which is actually a shapeshifting being known as Cappy) at enemies and taking control of them. I've liked what I have played so far; I'm a few worlds into the story, and there always seems to be a lot to take in every time I progress to a new area.
For the Nintendo 64, I made one acquisition: Mario Golf. Golf has a reputation for being a sort of mild-mannered sport--unless you're a die-hard fan, that is--but in true Nintendo fashion, Mario Golf is anything but a traditional sports game, as there are a number of characters and game modes to keep the experience fresh and expand the replay value. I'm sure there are people who prefer more realistic gameplay, and Mario Golf kind of lags behind in that aspect. On the other hand, Mario Golf did go on to spawn several sequels across multiple platforms, so I don't think anyone would doubt that the format does have its appeal. Personally, I like it.

you can still change your abilities by throwing your "hat" (which is actually a shapeshifting being known as Cappy) at enemies and taking control of them. That's different! Good thing that's a game, because I doubt if something like that were to exist in real life I'd want to feel it breathing on my head until I threw it at something! Golf has a reputation for being a sort of mild-mannered sport--unless you're a die-hard fan, that is--but in true Nintendo fashion, Mario Golf is anything but a traditional sports game, Kind of like Ninja Golf for the Atari 7800 isn't a "traditional sports game" either, I assume (I've never played it).
