Hi, where do I go to post photo`s? what site do people use? Thanks Welcome, Darrin, to VW XI! Good to "meet" another veteran here on the block. There's a step-by-step description and a hint in the long initial post but you probably missed it: Some people here host their file on their webserver and some use Google Photo. Perhaps people can post in the topic "Free file hosting" and write how they host their files for free. Thanks! I`ll give it a try. I played a few games and forgot to have "AVA" in the photos, So I`ll have to replay them..

"Bummer!" that you forgot the score code in your photos. Looks like Vector War should take place more often so that people don't forget about the procedures (actually, before every Vector War I struggle a bit myself to remember how I organized specific things a year before.). Good luck and success in (re-)playing!

Highscore list has been updated - see initial post. Current top 5 ranking: 1. limitzer0 (600pts) 2. Chainsaw (600pts) 3. playvectrex (549pts) 4. Vorkosigan (517pts) 5. fmml (464pts) hcmffm just a heads up that it looks like you have not noted 9-9 for my Get The Beer win. Final score is 3-5 if you win, but if we are going with 9-9, please apply that for my score. Thank you One more very minor update is on the scores table, Chainsaw's TDF score is not highlighted.

8-Bit Waves and Chainsaw are both #1 with maximum of points. Brett is very close, Vorkosigan needs 80pts and fmml 130pts to the top. Score code: "AVA" (valid till Friday 3 a.m. EDT / 8a.m. CET/MEZ). ___ @playvectex: Sorry for the "Get the beer glitch", Brett. I missed out the "(won)". This correction pushed you even closer to the top.

Highscore list has been updated - see initial post. Current top 5 ranking: 1. Chainsaw (600pts) 2. limitzer0 (591pts) 3. Vorkosigan (572pts) 4. playvectrex (568pts) 5. fmml (468pts)
Stefan ( Chainsaw ) took the lead and is #1. Nathan ( 8-Bit Waves ) and Vorkosigan and Brett ( playvectrex ) are very close, fmml is fith (Fifth sounds somehow sounds like a bad rank but isn't at all!) Score code: "AVA" (valid till Friday 3 a.m. EDT / 8a.m. CET/MEZ). ___ Vorkosigan : Excellent KnightEx score! I guess you have quite some gambling background to reach these high score and play amongst the top 5 players. playvectrex: Sooooo close, Brett! That's really sad and maximum disappointment after playing for a long time. :/ Sometimes I tell my wife: Try to be angry - that's a bit better than sadness. So: What a sh*tty game - why does difficulty in that game ramp up so slowly. And who the f... set this high maximum score to 300.000 and not 299900. Honestly: I cross my fingers that you manage to reach 300.000 which seems to be essential to get #1 in this year.

I really didn't understand Star Trek before... but now I do. As with most games... you won't get it until you put the time in. After a break I'm sure I'll try again! Regarding my other comment on Star Trek scoring, should this score at the top be 2nd place, 90 some points?

Not earth shattering scores yet, but played a few of the homebrews. Big Blue - 2 Treasures, such a nice change of pace wgich I really appreciate. Zombie - 390, hmmmm... Not sure about this game. Need to give it more time. Gyro - 3%, I struggle with the rotation on this without a spinner. GWSL - 7802, my kinda game. Thoroughly enjoyable, will be giving this more playtime for sure. drive.google.com/folderview?id=1iNa6TbzmEwXHehgv7CQpEs1a7m3rCEym

I guess you have quite some gambling background to reach these high score and play amongst the top 5 players. I played lots of videogames in my youth. Now with the age of 44, three teenage kids (so some personal time again) and with this wonderful system, that I missed in my youth,"it's all coming back to me now". 😄 Thanks, Marc

... Thanks for the encouragement! I really didn't understand Star Trek before... but now I do. As with most games... you won't get it until you put the time in. After a break I'm sure I'll try again! That's also my experience: If you really, really play a game a lot you understand each single "corner" of it and can twickle out highscores that are really high - even that high that people may doubt that it can be true. Years ago I've played Color Clash every day for about four weeks. One evening I had a perfect game with a perfect score of 5000 or even 7000 points (don't remember well and the online highscore list of Revivalstudio no longer works). From then on I never played Color Clash again. Good luck in (re-)playing Star Trek! Regarding my other comment on Star Trek scoring, should this score at the top be 2nd place, 90 some points? ATM, if two players rank #1 in a game, the next rank won't be #2 but #3. It's a bit inconsistent because overall ranking works differently but I think it's fair and I like to keep it for now because it applies for all players. (I would need to twitch Excel even more to get this right and atm I'm lacking a bit of time.)

This year's Vector War is great fun! Unfortunately I won't have any time to play today and tomorrow due to work issues. I hope to be able to join in again on Saturday. Thanks to those of you who sent me messages. I will reply as soon as possible.
Happy High-Scoring to you all!
Cheers, Peer
