robutt : Good to read that you enjoyed the Vector War. With feedback and beta-testing for your game is meant for real. Whenever possible and wanted I try to find the time to provide feedback; here's an example. @all: Random prizes will be drawn in the next couple of days - sunday latest. Please make sure to visit this Vectorgaming forum, again, to check whether you've won Vectorlink or a CIB Vector Blade (currently offered by ebay for 1199EUR but that price is unrealistic)!

That's really cool, thanks to Sven :-) And he also changed the Space Wars box to a Vector War XI box. PS: Oh here his name is Vorkosigan and on Vectrex.BE it's Verkosigan. (Sorry, I was too often betatester so I see such things...) But Vorkosigan - you get the beer, so no reason to complain  (Just kidding) You are absolutely right, no complaints at all. 🤣 Thanks to all of you for organizing, donating, contributing, fighting for scores and for so much more. The Vectrex will never die with such people caring for it’s survival! Great community and I love being part of it! 😃 |

Sorry that I did not manage to say this earlier: Also from my side many thanks to our dear organizer and to all participants and players. And congratulations to the winners! Although I could not do any more playing during the last days (I still kept reading and followed all the posts), the tournament was a welcome and whole lot of fun for me, and I am already looking forward to next year

Peer, one last word about one of the results of your Vectrex Academy project, that we were able to play in this years competition: I didn’t fell in love with Get the beer just for the prize contest. I „literally“ went maniac to beat the game, just ask my family. 🤣 My compliments to your student, who developed that enticing, surprising game. For me personally it’s one of the best games that I’ve ever played (on all systems by the way). I felt like being a teen again, sitting in front of a Videogalerie with sweaty hands on the controller. Although I was many times near a heartattack, when I lost my last live 3 platforms before the finish line in the last level. 😆 I definitely would like to reach higher levels of drunkenness. 🤣 Maybe the author has got some ideas for doing a sequel or other new Vectrex games at all? playvectrex The stuff I have coated the handle of the spoon with is called Baolin Furniture Polish. From the bottle label: Contains Isoalkaner (C9-C12(50%-75%), parafine oil. Store out of reach from children. Do not pour into drain. If eaten do NOT induce vomiting. Immediately contact a doctor an show this label. So yeah, I have poisoned the spoon so it is only good for display purposes. BUT there will be something for Vector Wolf in the package you will get. I won't say more as that will spoil the presumed surprise.

minsoft : Your 9th rank is really a good rank and a good start. Especially your Solar Quest score is pretty good. Thank you again for participating! Perhaps your "Vyrzon" game is a candidate for Vector War XII?  Thank you! If all goes well I hope to release Vyrzon next year on cartridge. It would be an honour for it to feature as a Vector War game...I would probably create a special version for the tournament, if people did want to include it.

I see much appreciation, understanding, and support for each other and even other things like generosity and last not least: "Vectrex Fever" . hcmffm I have a Veclink ordered alread and I also have a copy of Vectorblade from Malban. You can exclude me from the random prize draw to give others a higher chance.

hcmffm: Please remove me from the random prize drawings as well, as I do already own a Vectorblade cartridge. The Veclink prize is great, but I am more of a programmer than a gamer, so that prize should go to one of the great players here. Good luck to everyone!

hcmffm please exclude me from both random draws, I'm not really a collector of stuff (have too much already!) or a dedicated player, plus I already have Vectorblade. Thanks from me to the prize givers, hcmffm for his organisation, the game creators and everyone who took part in the event, it's really the best aspect of the community. I wasn't able to play so many games this time round, only 3 or 4 hours total, but still an enjoyable event nonetheless and I look forward to VW XII. My highlight was getting though all the levels on Scramble, never done that before Congratulations also to the prize winners!

Vintage Computer Festival Zurich is on 27/28 Nov, has been a great event previously. Lots of interesting old stuff. Someone always brings a Vectrex along. vintagecomputerfestival.ch See also vcfe.ch and YouTube. 5CHF entry on the door. I'll be going, one day with my kids, one without. |

Actually now I even remember that Christopher ( Malban ) who donated the Vector Blade prize about year ago, said that only persons can win the Vector Blade prize who don't own a copy of Vector Blade, yet. I appreciate everyone being really fair about the prizes here. I never made any rule about the Vectorlink drawing for people that have ONE already, but if you already have TWO I would suggest passing on it so someone else can check it out. Two is better than one though, so that's a good reason to stay in it if you only have one. That said, there is no official rule by me (just a gentle suggestion, I won't judge if you stay in it with two already). I don't want to get in the way of anyone acquiring the very limited to 1 VWXI Vectorlink with black connector and signed with VWXI on the PCB.
My kids will pass on the Vectorlink drawing, since I'm making it rain Vectorlinks over here.
