LOL! Just had a peek in the kids' room: The twins are sitting side by side at the table, each with their own Vectrex in front of them, and they are both playing Pole Position, pretending to race against each other

Highscore list has been updated - see initial post. D-Type, nexus6 , rossross , fruktodlaren , and scotthuggins have qualified, congratulations! ___ @ Ross ( rossross): Another Vector War veteran. Nice "Rossross Serif" font on the paper with the score code. Have fun in your 5th Vector War! @ Philip ( D-Type): Great that you represent Switzerland in the Vector War, again. Cool that you're two kids participate, too. @ John ( mozie): Good Star Castle playing. And even 25.000 pts more than the maximum - well done! @ Roland ( nexus6): Great that you've joined in, again. I much like your score code design. That's a very good start in Vectrexagon. Good luck and good playing in your 6th Vector War! @ Alan ( eyelyft71): That's good improvements on your scores! Nice paper with VW score code, btw. @ Tony ( fruktodlaren): Thanks for participating, again. And cool that you "kids" plus a friend of 'em intend to join in. Good luck and fun in VW 14! @ Scott ( scotthuggins): All scores above threshold and qualified, now. kiwasabi: Thanks for the info on your location and gaming technique. Greetings from Germany and keep up the good playing! Peer: With 2 x 45 minutes per game in Heads Up Soccer I'll have to enhance duration of the Vector War to a month or even more. Looks like your kids need a Vector Link and a special version of Pole Position. But not really, kid's fantasy is good enough. @ Justin ( jbrodack): Vector War veterans #9 is in - great! And starting with a very strong Vectrexagon score. PS: Cross posting Vectrexagon scores (and later on EDIH scores) with Vectrex High Score Club is explicetely allowed and desired.

It looks like mozie's Star Castle score must have accidentally gotten an extra zero, causing it to appear maxed out at 75,000. The score was 7,620 I believe. I had to check because that would be quite a feat on Star Castle.

I had to check because that would be quite a feat on Star Castle. Also, Fredrik is missing in the overall ranking, likely due an invalid entry in the excel-sheet (see his score for EDIH in the second table), but maybe hcmffm has already noticed. Furthermore, our (Fredrik's and mine) most recent submissions seem to have crossed with Helmut's update, as those scores have not yet made their way into the calculations.

I had to check because that would be quite a feat on Star Castle. Screenshot of mozie's Star Castle highscore is a bit blur but it says 101010. 75.000 is the maximum score for Star Castle which is applied, here. Also, Fredrik is missing in the overall ranking, likely due an invalid entry in the excel-sheet (see his score for EDIH in the second table), but maybe hcmffm has already noticed. Fixed, now. (I had entered Fredrik's EDIH score but EDIH score was below threshold and thus formulas screwed up). Furthermore, our (Fredrik's and mine) most recent submissions seem to have crossed with Helmut's update, as those scores have not yet made their way into the calculations. Scores that are posted after my update of the highscore list will make it into the next update. (Years ago I tried to keep the highscore list as up-to-date as possible - ending up with uploading the highscore list several times because new scores had been posted in the meantime.). BTW, highscore list will be updated at least twice a day, in the morning and in the evening (European time).

Actually my technique for star castle is very very similar..hahahahh Yes, exactly! I made the mistake to find that strategy too boring at some point and started progressing through the levels, until finally the drone ships become faster than your own ship. From there on you are doomed.

Yes but you can destroy them when they are behind you also by firing just before they touch you and also factoring in the extra lives gained it can be played until your fingers become tired or you become bored
