That's a lot of $$$ for those! Am I glad I have most of these games on multicart! I just got VecSports Boxing from Good Deal Games also for a fraction of that!

That's the limited edition though, of course. I don't think even 20 of those were made.

Well it's a pretty niche market. And you don't really hear squat in regards to VecCaves/Spike's Spree either, even amongst Vectrex circles. Not many people have that one, I don't think there's even any reviews of it online that I can find.

I had not heard of either one until now either. I can see why they generate so much attention.

Well Mark de Smet (who made VC/SS) says on his website about contacting him in regards to possibly making another run of the games. I think only about 80 were made so I don't know if he just said that and then years later has never made another run or what. He seems like he should've made another one by now, if not two or three. I'll eventually contact him just to make sure I have his name right for my Vectrex wiki in regards to the personnel page (lower 'd' in de and if his name is supposed to fall under 'S' for Smet) and to see about being put on a waiting list for the next batch and how much they are and the like (I'm just not doing it now in case he's considering it and I don't have the funds to spare for one...not that it'd hurt to ask though even if I didn't have the money, I'm just not going to bother).

I thought Nintendo fans paid big money! But TrekMD is right!! That is a lot of money!
Must be sj!! I bet he is working a lot of overtime and that is why he doesn't post as much so he can pick up games like this?

Hopefully he does decide to make more of these. It would be cool to get these games at a more reasonable price. Then I can reviews at RVG!

Not I. That would be another reason for my wife to wear my knackers as ear-rings. I checked out a you-tube clip of Vecaves and it doesn't look particularly exciting. Definately one for the hard-core collector... I bet it's Redraider. Anyway, when I bid on eBay I'm a last 9 second merchant.

Like session, I heard it's addicting, as it was modeled after some cell phone game. Definately one for the hard-core collector... You forget that it also comes with Spike's Spree, a clone of 2600 Fast Food. That's a fun little game!

I've played the cell phone version of Cave and it is addicting indeed! I'd guess this Vectrex version would be just as much fun.

I really got lucky scoring my copy. Id got into the vectrex and didn't know anything about homebrews or that anyone was even releasing new games for an old games machine from the past. I went into a little retro games shop near me one day and they had just got in a collection of Vectrex bits someone had traded in. The guy in the shop also didn't know much about homebrews so just priced them at what he thought they were worth. I ended up buying VeCaves, Protector, Thrust, Gravitrex, Vectopia and Protector/Yasi for £20 each.
