Sorry for derogating your enthusiasm: A longer while back I've seen a highscore with more than 20 trophies and after googling a bit I found the source, again (German webpage translated automatically): www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=de&to=en&a=http://www.retrozentrale.net/?p=2561"... the 21 insect does exist, but widely invisible. (Coincidence or intention of the programmer?). But flying with active tractor beam, you catch it sometime by chance, in the trophy room it does not appear though. The following insects appear as jumbled Grafikblitzer but you can catch them. I came here to the 24th insect, the 22 is a small graphic, the 23rd just a point and the 24th just line. Maybe I'm even hunting a bit more..."BTW: The author ChainSaw is the winner of this year's Vector War.

and "coming soon from gce" "ads" for Cosmic Chasm and Bedlam. Why would they do that? This is great! I guess you missed the May 31 and June 5-6 entries on VectrexMad's website in regards to that. And in regard's to Helmut's post, guess it's back to the drawing board for glip!

VectorX has a good memory! These messages were also already mentioned on the forum under the post Vectrex GlitchSJ you can also find hidden text in the game ROM binaries. All you need is a good text editor. I used TextPad which is free to download and use. if you check my news page and scroll down to 6th June you will find more info.

Wow this is crazy stuff. I thought it was a joke at first. So eh I guess I was right, sort of, about "invisible trophies" after number 20.
No disappointment on my end. Remember I was pissed when I thought there were only 20. Happy to have some more Web Wars goals now.

I coded a tiny pixel shader inspired by "Web Wars" game. It works in any web browser with WebGL support (Chrome, Firefox, IE11, Safari & Opera in dev mode). Enjoy my animation: click here
