Dear Mayhen, when you choose the 64kB mode, the 16 32kB slots are reduced to 8 64kB slots (slots 1 and 9 are combined in a single and continuous 64kB slot, so do 2 and 10, 3 and 11, ...
The second 32k block is saved just after the first 32k block, because in fact it is a single and continuous slot

Exactly; like with Dondzila remaking several of his games for his compilations, he's just perfecting his craft. After all, making this into not just only a flashcart, but to ALSO have an included pause button...well, that's just great, you know?

A curious feature for these cartridges: If you use an empty memory bank, you will can play Minestorm with pause; very useful of course

Yes, aside from the pause mod Vectrex that jasonbar on here sells, that's a first for that game!

Will pausing the game hurt the screen? Can a Vectrex overheat if left on to long. Pausing games has been known to lead to longer breaks.

Will pausing the game hurt the screen? Can a Vectrex overheat if left on to long. Pausing games has been known to lead to longer breaks. The longer you leave the Vectrex on the more age you induce into the system components. The immediate concern of any paused game by button, or by software, is always going to be screen burn. Good rule of thumb is never pause unless you are going for a records run, or breaking for food / porcelain time. Otherwise it's just not worth the possible problems.

But the pause button as implemented with the Juan Mateos cart will not cause screen burn in. Pressing the pause button simply stops the Vectrex’s microprocessor, blocking the screen refresh and the updating of the audio synthesizer. This means when you stop a game, the screen goes blank. Leaving the Vectrex on for long periods of time (from my experience) will not cause the Vectrex to overheat.

Operation is exactly as you say. jfmateos told me the pause runs in a similar way to the Jason Bardis Vectrex Pause ModAll refresh signals are off for the video and audio. When stop, screen goes black. About the sound, it doesn´t goes to mute: Synthesizer stay in its actual stage, so be careful or you could hear an annoying chronic beep when you pause while music/sound effects play

At the risk of sounding immodest, I am really proud of the 16in1 cartridge... I think it is very handy, and inside that traslucent blue case makes my mouth water.

A multicart with a rotary switch is insanely cool. And looks cool too. Just ordered a couple.
Thanks for making them available!
