The burner is the same for all the consoles. The only thing that changes is the cartridge.
In other words: you only need one burner and can use it to burn all your vectrex/watara/... cartridges.
I think this perspective is beneficial because you invest only once in the more expensive part of the system (burner), and this way the cartridges are much more cheaper.
I have been studying atari 2600/7800 and Gameboy... but may I ask which consoles would you like to be compatible with MVBD?

I have been studying atari 2600/7800 and Gameboy... Are you thinking about a solution for the classic Black & White Gameboy (and Gameboy Color) or the Gameboy Advance? The reason I am asking is that for the Classic Gameboy there are not many "modern" solutions out there. At least I don´t know many. I have got a product called "GB USB smart card 64M" but it is painfull to use and I can only get it working on the old Windows XP but not Windows 8 / 8.1 as you have to deal with driver issues. Of course I don´t know how many people would be interested in such a solution, maybe it is just me.  |

Hi roli, I am studying Atari 2600/7800, Classic Gameboy, and now Intellivision.
Nevertheless, I have another Vectrex "secret" project in development and this other systems probably will have to wait.
