Thanks for the compliment, but I'm still a rank amateur when it comes to photography though.
If a few things go the right way, I plan on giving my girlfriend my current gripped Nikon D90 and upgrading to a full-frame Nikon D800. What is truly the key to my photos is my Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. Nothing pulls in light better than Nikkor Pro Glass. Best single investment I have made in my photography gear, period, worth every penny I payed to obtain it. I have also invested in quality gear for my meager home studio I use for product photography. Next two items buying for it will be a 12' backdrop stand and a hair-light + boom. Then I should be able to tweak my lighting to a point I'm more satisfied with.

Your just jealous, Darryl! We both know that if we had that kind of dispensable income, we'd be competing with RedRaider for all these awesome items! Heh. Well, *I* look at it as to being that the Vectrex Gods must be pleased, as I was able to get a hold of Spike several years ago. There are other upcoming things too in relation to that which is about all I'll say about that for now. |

I've yet to see any hate on these forums at all, luckily  Just an occasional thought of "oh gee, why'd he say THAT?"  at worst, and even those aren't very common. |

If you wait for one in a box I reckon you could be waiting some time. If you want one, why not bid on that and sell it on when a better one comes along? I'm sure you'd recover your outlay. |

I can answer that! Because he can wait for exactly what he wants, and he has already dropped a pretty coin on Vectrex stuff the last few weeks. He's got a lot of great new stuff to keep him occupied for some time, he doesn't need another headache (get it? lol)

I'm not buying anything from that seller. Yes I would like a 3D Imager, just to see what it's like, but I believe in buying things once. I'm not an upgrade kind of person, I do not buy to get me by, then sell and upgrade later. That just is not in my nature.
After I buy a second boxed unit from Mike, I'll probably be slowing down on my Vectrex purchases, other than building my HoneBrew library. But if I come across some deals I feel are too his to pass up, I'm sure I'll drop the coin.
I have decided to devote my time and resources towards designing / prototyping / fabricating a custom aluminum case for both the Colecovision and Intellivision. If I can pull off what I have have in my head, it will be something no one has ever conceived of doing before.
