I have unlimited hosting storage space at PlayVectrex.com, so at a minimum I can put something up there for VWX for people to drag and drop pictures to, and get a link to post here. If anyone has a recommendation on a JS script... please message me, otherwise I'll figure it out. This still doesn't make it super easy to share a picture from your phone directly though. Ideally, I could make the script create the BBCode necessary to post the pics here very easily. BBCode or direct link option, with Copy/Paste. Emailing directly is a simple option, but would really take the fun out of knowing someone's new score right away. My vote would be not to take scores privately, to keep the competition as lively as possible. Getting an account at Discord is very easy.. staying logged in is even easier than here

Yeah, you could provide a "secret" link for anonymous people to submit photos to. I wrote php script back in the day that did something similar but nothing that would help you now.

^What problems are you having with logging in here? Useless it's your phone that might be a hindrance, you can just log in here and save your login for as long as you wish.
EDIT: that was for playvectrex, limitzer0 got his post in right before mine.

Thank you for the discussion and suggestions regarding the submission of scores. For the past years uploading of images worked quite well but is indeed a bit cumbersome. I'd like to keep the submission of scores in the Vectorgaming forum. I think it's nice to see other people's photos and their score code and sometimes one can even spot some extras in the image. For file sharing I've used imgBB in the past two years and it worked well for me. From my point of view, the solution should offer a very simple way to upload images to a server and link them here. If someone ( playvectrex?) can setup a simple solution that would be great. ATM, I wonder whether sharing a Google drive would be a good idea and make uploading and linking images simpler.

Tony ( fruktodlaren ) and Bob ( bob) have donated an aluminum Vectrex32 for Vector War X. The Vectrex32 is a cartridge with an ARM processor, Flash RAM, and RAM which can bring a lot of power to the Vectrex. As Tony wrote above, altogether there will be three of this aluminum Vectrex32 cartridges, only. One of these beautiful and special cartridges can be won Vector War X. Below please find some photographs. Thank you very much, Tony and Bob, for crafting this special prize and your donation!

Wow! That's awesome! I'll chuck in some of my pins as prizes if you like. Should have 4 variants by then and can throw in a 'special' chimney hunt cart too if you want it. Oh, that would be wonderful!

If anyone needs to purchase Vectorblade for VWX, please email me at: playvectrex at gmail dot com Previous players in Vector War will have priority on the list if I get too many requests, and then people that have already posted here about VWX will have second priority. I have reserved 25 Vectorblade copies for VWX, but I will have 25 more later that can be purchased in different forms as well (see bottom note). Please include the following info so we cut down the back and fourth questions: 1 - Do you already have a copy of Vectorblade? (this answer should be no) 2 - What was the last Vector War you qualified for? 3 - What was your previous Pseudo-name in Vector War? 4 - Which type of Vectorblade cart do you want to purchase? 4A. Assembled PCB only NO RGB LED - $25 + SH 4B. Assembled PCB with RGB LED - $35 + SH (RGB LED can be set to Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, White, Off) Shipping in the US will be $5 and Shipping Worldwide will be $15. Worldwide shipping is going to be about 2 weeks or more, so if you are thinking about it... now's the time! Based on the answers of these questions, I'll get you on a prioritized list and as I have things built I'll end up sending you to a page where you can checkout. NOTE: Please DO NOT email me for Vectorblade at this time if you already have Vectorblade and have no intension of qualifying and seriously competing in Vector War X THANK YOU for your understanding!! (remember, I do have a limited signed run I'm doing of 10 complete cased copies, and 15 more you can build however you want that I will offer a bit later, if you just want Vectorblade and don't need it for this competition). Also please note that during Vector War X I will not be shipping anything out and will have 100% focus on the competition!! . Thanks for your understanding! Cut-off time for requests will be Sunday October 25th at noon CST.

Thank you for this great offer to supply Vector War veterans and new participants, Brett. Looking at these beautiful Vectorblade PCBs it's almost a pity that I have a copy of Vectorblade, already. BTW: Where are you located, Brett?

There is another prize that Tony crafted: The wooden spoon prize. I didn't know about this prize and its tradition and I have learnt it's a fun prize for the person or the team who just made it or that became last. See Wikipedia for more info on the wooden spoon award. Rules for winning this prize are not 100% set, yet. Probably the wooden spoon will go to the person that has qualified for the Vector War X and has minimal points. Most likely there will be an age limit, e.g. minimum of 16 years.
Below please find some pictures of the wooden spoon: Thank you very much, Tony, for crafting this wooden spoon and donating it as another prize for Vector War X!

Great Tony, absolutely marvelous! Helmut, here is a suggestion: After the final ranking, award the Spoon to the next-to-last player.
Thus, there is no good strategy to deliberately go for the Spoon, because at any time the last ranked player has an incentive to improve her/his scores to end up in the second to last place. This could cause some mini competition at the bottom end of the ranking list.
Cheers, Peer
PS: I want that Spoon!!!

I'd love to have your version of Vectorblade Brett but as I already have a copy of it I defer to others who do not have it yet.

... Helmut, here is a suggestion: After the final ranking, award the Spoon to the next-to-last player. Suggestion accepted. So we introduce the "Kellerduell" to Vector War. But in a positive way.
