I'd like to see a Vectrex version of Custer's Revenge. (not really.) *cough* clickyGuess you didn't know about that, eh? Seriously though, does anyone remember Atlantis for the 2600? A 2-player version of that for the Vectrex would rule. Yeah, I have and like that classic game.

I think a sequel to .--. .- -. --.. . .-. would be cool. You could have it *seem* like the original at first, with a repeat of the game, but then after a certain number of helicopters are shot down, they disappear, leaving only the plane. Have that start coming closer and closer with each time it reaches a screen edge (like on City Bomber) until the player is able to destroy it, then they would be able to destroy the turrets (maybe they ran out of ammo?).
After that, perhaps the objective could change, to an overhead view, and bring in (sort of) the elements of Armor Attack, but with just the buildings and the helicopter. However, here you could rescue hostages from buildings; perhaps you could see their arm sticking out of a side. You could shoot a side where the hostage's arm doesn't emerge from, they could run out of that, then you could gather them up. However, if you shoot a side where the arm starts to appear then that hostage would die. After all hostages have been freed, just move to a screen edge, which would be past enemy lines or something and they would be considered to be free, then you could move onto a different objective again, such as a base to bomb at the end or something.

PANZER was one of my favorites. I like it as it is but I would like to see stages with different platforms that create different angles of fire or change the how you have to watch for on coming fire. I imagine being able to park on a slope which changes your angle or fire or being perched on a ledge where your travel area is very confined.

I'll do a Panzer 2 Thread, where we can talk about, what should be featured and what not... Yeah, an interactive homebrew development ^^

I edited your post to embed the video, 50tbrd. That looks really cool and something that would be doable on the Vectrex. Having it made for the 3D images is also a neat idea. The Vectrex doesn't seem too keen on generating real-time curves... or maybe it's just me! Also that ship is a bit big, rotating that in real-time would definitely kill the frame rate! No, I didn't try to make it, but I did try something similar in one of my dropped games. If anyone has a good (quick) way of drawing curved lines I be happy to hear about it!

Would a version of Spinball made into a 3-D slant be possible?

If someone was to do another pinball game, they ought to make it raster to do it very differently.

if they have not been suggested already (it's a big thread to read right through CHOPVECTOR (choplifter - by sega): VECSES (pisces - by subelectro): VECMANIA (tazzmania - by stern):

I remember that guy!! I guess I played this ages ago and forgot about it, or maybe it was in another game. I looked at the very small catalog of Subelectro games and none of the others seemed familiar (I know it wasn't on Meteoroids because I actually played that in a local arcade down the street).

i used to play pisces as a kid in a bar/club so have fond memories of that one - quite a tough game though, so each credit didnt last long ... i used to love moon patrol as a kid also, so pretty excited about vector patrol which looks incredible! i was thinking another game which would be fun on the vectrex would be 'Pang' (Buster Brothers) - perhaps you could say that game is an offspring of asteroids.. ok so the bubbles are 'circles' ...hmmm but for the vectrex i think it would be ok to just used squares instead.. which split into smaller squares when you shoot them. and maybe the player weapon (the long flowing 'rope' ..see pic below); could instead just be eg. regular bullets / laser shot 2 player co-op is fun in that game, working with a friend to clear the screen of bubbles - but then sometimes causing their death by mistake
