i used to play pisces as a kid in a bar/club so have fond memories of that one - I've just played it on MAME. Turns out it was that game after all, as I looked it up on a site: www.stageselect.com/26499-pisces.aspxNote that the most recent submitter was myself, the first one being gauze (probably the same one on here, as I've always meant to ask). Yep, there's a picture of that same boss! I just played it ages ago but forgot about it. quite a tough game though, Yeah, that made me remember that I probably figured I should get a picture in of that cool boss because of that very fact!

Pisces is a great Pheonix clone. I'm picking up a couple Galaxian boards for messing about with today. I'm intending to convert one of them to Pisces. Though I best not get too distracted as I need to get Xmas Cart 2015 finished

i was thinking another game which would be fun on the vectrex would be 'Pang' (Buster Brothers) - perhaps you could say that game is an offspring of asteroids.. ok so the bubbles are 'circles' ...hmmm but for the vectrex i think it would be ok to just used squares instead.. which split into smaller squares when you shoot them. and maybe the player weapon (the long flowing 'rope' ..see pic below); could instead just be eg. regular bullets / laser shot 2 player co-op is fun in that game, working with a friend to clear the screen of bubbles - but then sometimes causing their death by mistake There has been efforts for a Vectrex version of Pang called Vectrex Symbiosis as well as Chris Tumbers Pop. Both were able to create circles. vectorgaming.proboards.com/thread/1111/vectrex-pang-symbiosis

I remember those experiments. Could be good a game including some circles, even if only as a decorative element. Could be a fresh touch

I'm really surprised a clone of Major Havoc hasn't been done on the Vectrex.

A Vectrex version of the GBA's dotstream would just be silly good.

ooh that looks good that dotstream game it looks like you choose which colour line you wish to be, and then try to beat the other lines, in a race if you hit something solid like a wall etc, it slows you down for the vectrex: i bet it would still be fun if you didnt have the other computer players; but just one line instead (the player), and a time limit to reach the end of the level.. --- demo video below where the player has chosen to be the BLUE line:

That would work well... perhaps travelling up the screen to work with the vertical orientation.
