Of course a promotional restricted version would be good marketing to release as a "free" bin but the copyright would still remain with the author and the author could insist on certain restrictions on distribution (eg. inclusion on commercial multicarts etc). Unfortunately, this thread is proof yet again that this does not work. Sometimes people make mistakes, and the developer is "heavy handed" for being upset about it. Other people just don't care and wear their sense of entitlement like a medal. Obviously the world isn't going to change so I have to.

Personally I would want multicart makers to put promotional versions of my games on cart..even without them asking permission first. Good advertisement for sale of full version right?

I don't even know what to say any more. No worries, it is just a caching problem with my webspace provider, the list is long updated and the programs in question were removed instantly when you first publicly complained. Just one hint if you ever run into problems with others: contact them directly. I for example depend on others hinting me to public discussions about me. I'm removing the file now and upload it again tomorrow, hope that finally solves the damn caching problem.

Turned out I wasn't aware of using that directory as source of the file. (I used madtronix.com/_public_downloads/Madtronix%20multicart%20bundle%20game%20list%200.9.pdf in formums ) Updated with your games removed and will update with the other games i got instead tomorrow. Positive thing is now people got following games instead: -vecfahren (thanks to Der Luchs) -untot demo (thanks to Der Luchs) -lichtbringer trailer (thanks to Der Luchs) -city bomber (thanks to Andrew Coleman) -veccy bird (thanks to Michael Simonds) Yes I asked them and they were very happy and helpful. Thanks bringing to my awareness the list on my website was outdated. My communications are a bit on the slow side atm because I'm struggling a bit with the 2.5 month old player 2 project. If you ever feel you need to caontact me directly, just use my website contact form ot my email address known from earlier correspondence.

This tread made me purchase a MadTronix multicart boxed bundle, and a VecVoxx... Thanks for creating product awareness.

I would say it was freely distributed back then but that could be incorrect. Maybe some other term should be used for the article, I don't know.

Well actually the publisher back then was Capital S Software, I think. That's probably what it should've said in the first place.

BTW, just found Christopher Thumber's webpage. Christopher even lists some work in progress games: Specter, Incursion, and Panic Attack. But after Christopher's activity from 2014-2017 he seems to be M.I.A., again. Would be cool if christophertumber returned one day.

Yeah, it's a shame, as I remember him working on the "bullet hell" game here and all, along with considering the possibility of re-releasing Tsunami/VIX again, as I wasn't even really thinking about the Vectrex when it was released, much less buying stuff for it then. I would later ask Mark Shaker about it when I found out about his Vectrex Carts web site but he said he tried contacting Chris to see about doing an unlimited version of those games (like with Protector) but he couldn't get a hold of him.
