I have stated it before but it bears repeating. Me, Len and Moyu are all three immune to winning prizes donated by me. That seems simple enough to understand, right? But it does induce a pressing follow up question that may need answering before the war ends. Should our immunity also exclude us completely from being counted when determining who is second to last or only stop us from winning the prize if one of us should be second to last? Thank you for raising this question, Tony. Your Vector War XII wooden spoon is produced and must find it's owner. Prize is intended for second last winner. For finding second last, all people immune to prizes (you, Moyu, Len, and me) will also count. The search for the winner of the wooden spoon will go up the ranking till there is someone who is not immune to prize. At the moment, ranking looks like this: ... 19. Munch (116pts) 20. 50tbrd (100pts) 21. hcmffm (68pts) 22. VectorWolf (66pts) 23. Len (56pts) Second last is VectorWolf so prize would go to him. Does this make sense? Do you agree (especially fruktodlaren)?

I very well see and unterstand all your points. Nevertheless, personally I would not mind at all if Moyu and Len (or any other kids) were eligible for any of the prices, regardless of by whom they were donated. They are competing for themselves, so why shouldn’t they be? Maybe next year we could have a special second-but-last consolation price for all underaged players? Btw, I would like to be excluded from any of the prices of this year‘s competition, as I have already been given a present by hcmffm and fmml.

That makes sense. We talked about the possibility of Len and Moyu being able to win the prizes I made, but we all agreed on that it just feels better to exclude all three of us. Besides the spoon has been sitting on a shelf at my computer desk for nearly year now, as I made it just after VWXI ended. So they have seen it already they say.

Next year, I will have to talk my kids into joining, so that there might be a chance of the spoon ending up here at home. My explicit thanks to you for having introduced this wonderful tradition to the Vector War!

Thank you, Peer and Tony, for your feedback. From what I understand wooden spoon procedure described above is fine.

hcmffm is it possible you can format the results tables with some horizontal stripes for better readability? Once you've found your name, it's tricky to work out which score is yours when looking over on the right hand side of the screen.
